DiVeRSioN An 8 Channel AcidJazz Styling by Chuck Biscuits/DiE

This piece is my longest effort to date (still only 2:45), and is my most
technically complex. I'd just like to clear up a few things about this mod,
and the method I used to compose it, for those who're interested..

First, a few things to clear up..

Okay.. for those of you who like the module (hopefully the majority), there's
a few things I'd like to mention. The module was written in about a total of
10 hours of work. (about 3 days work I guess) This may sound slow to many
composers, but as I'm still coming up to speed again, it's not -too- (heh)
bad for me. There was extra work afterwards cleaning things up which I will
not count, as it wasn't much.

The inaccuracies you hear in the guitar 'solo' (not much of a solo I know but
I thought I'd hold off on the lochrian mode pentatonic guitar riffs common to
such bands as Slayer :) - anyhow, it's just jazz, not rock) are -for the most
part-, intended. This was to give a feeling of reality to the track.. I hope
I succeeded at that aspect, but that's up to you to decide... Mail me at the
address at the bottom if you have any bitches or anything to make.

 More info about the song..

Origin of samples (boring this time):
All ripped from other modules. Sorry about that, but the drum samples
Purple Motion used in 'Soul-O-Matic' were quite nice. I only used a few
from there (three to be exact), anyhow. I also used the brass samples
from Soul-O', they were nice (they were ripped from a ASM93 module by
Purple Motion I believe anyway :).

Other samples were taken from Necrs/PM's "Helixation".

Song composed using Mr. H's FastTracker version 1.01. Samples played with
using Psi/FC's DigiPlay v2.5u3, and Recording Studio Professional (for the
 frequency analysis/frequency cancellation,boost part).

All work done on an ancient SoundBlaster v1.05 (first DMA version). This
card I bought like four and a half years ago, and I'm too cheap to buy a GUS.
(and like I have the money! NOT!)

The machine used was the machine that runs my board, Liquid Metal (available
at +61-7-812-2324/v32b). Sorry to the users who got constant busy while I
 screwed around with FastTracker <g>.

About the funk drum rhythms, and why I didn't use loops OR use a floating
tempo. A floating tempo (for those who are ignorant of it's existance), is
like when the tempo constantly floats, to give syncopation which is often
needed for funk style rhythms!.. Anyhow, I didn't use one because I wanted
to do something different this time (i've used one before).. Instead I used
alot of the Note Delay (EDx) command, and I think it worked okay. Later on
also I used a 48-row rhythm in conjunction with the EDx command for some
interesting effects.. The drum rhythms took a long while to get right :-(,
but hopefully it was worth the effort.. why not contact me and tell me what
you reckon! (heh).. Well if u wish to do so, check out the next section in
 this ever increasing doc..

 And that section is..

How, and WHY to contact the author?!
