Well, here's a full(?) detailed info about our production...

What is a noter?

Noters are note-makers. (Yep!) By using these progs you are able to
make a COOOL note without any programming skills. You can find many of
them on C=64 (For example the Advanced Bonzai Notemaker v1.5 or the
great Faces Noter), but only a few exists on PC. Hope you'll love this
one...

System requirements

   - Sumkinda IBM compatible machine (AT 286 min)
   - VGA video card (with monitor...)
   - About 200k free main memory (it depends on the MOD)
   - An internal speaker or a SoundBlaster (compatible) card

How to make a note?

Well, it's pretty easy... Let's make one together!

The first step is the charset loading. (Ofcoz you don't have to load
one, if you want to use the default...) It's good to load the charset
before writing the text, coz the special chars can be different in
two charsets.

In the second step you can load the new module. Why? It gives you
inspiration about your note. Using a cheerful MOD under a sad text is
not a cool thing... The module player (MOD-OBJ) supports PC-Speaker
and SoundBlaster and it was coded by Mark J Cox.

Now you can edit the text. Common and special(?) functions try to
help your life here. The control keys are:

             PgUp/PgDn - Next/Previous page
Home/End - Goto to the first/last char in the line
             Ins - Inserting on/off
             Ctrl+Home - Clear current page
             Ctrl+PgUp - Line centering
             Ctrl+PgDn - Insert a line
             Ctrl+Entr - Delete a line
Ctrl+End - Fill up the line with the current char
             Ctrl+ ->  - Delete from the cursor
             Ctrl+ <- - Delete to cursor
             F5/F6 - Left/Right justify

I know, that this editor is really lame after a Microsoft Word or
sumthing, but it is NOT a professional text-editor, just a noter. (And
I HATE Windows...) But if enough dude of you outta here wants me to
fix it I'll make a better one.

Oh! You have to go for example to your girlfriend (or to the toilet
or somewhere) and you haven't finished your note yet. What to do? Just
hit F5 in the main menu and save the pages! After returning and
pressing F6 you can restore your saved text and continue editing. The
extension for the pages is PGS.

Alrite! Back to the main menu! Now we enter our good-bye message.
The noter gives back the ROM charset, coz this message will be
displayed after exiting the note. Ofcoz now you can use the full ASCII
table. 0U, G$! :)

Maybe you don't want the common "black-background-gray-text" screen,
so why don't you go to the color menu? Here you can make as ugly color
combinations as you want. (The black on black is one of my favourites)
You can make a color by entering the RGB (Red Green Blue) components
of it. Here's a beautiful example: (Boooooeeexffwuuuuurb) :)
                    Background Foreground
                    R-62 28-R
                    G-44 20-G
                    B-44 08-B

I haven't said anything about the copy pages function. And I won't
say anything about it... Pretty simple.

Now we finished our first note. Press F2 and save your EXE! (It's a
good idea to compress it with PKLITE, DIET or something)

And what about the charset dezigner?

It's a pretty cool charset editor to make your own set. It has got
many nice functions, like ripping charset from a note. I don't have
the mood to write a full DOC about it, so try everything possible
and you'll understand it.

Business

You've made a kawl charset? OK! What about sending it to us?
No, that's not how it goes. Once more!

WOULD YOU MIND SENDING YOUR COOL CHARSET TO US? PLEASE! PRETTY PLEASE!

Thank you! (Address and more info in the charset editor...)

What's up?

Sorry about the lame documentation, but I have no inspiration at all.
I spend less time in front of the monitor since I know that the girl I
love doesn't love me. She only likes me. But that's not enough...
Life sucks... ;-(
The army wants Metaldude to be a soldier. He'll spend 9 months there.
What a waste of time!
Look out for S3Mlister v1.0 also released today!

Closing words

The Advanced Interfrigo Notemaker was made just for fun. It has got
no copy protection. Feel free to use it, spread as you can! But please
copy all program files! (Documentation and charsets too) That's all.

And at last... To be an absolutely good-guy...
