        this is just a _very_ unfinished unpolished game
        if i would do it again i would not start the way i did then...

        i would first get a good angle rebound thingie and work from
        there...

        the pixel grab is a good idea but:
                -too slow
                -if ball going faster than 2 pixels per frame then it may
                 go thru the blocks...

         check out spectrum's classic - impact on a z80 emulator...
         it looks bad but the basics are there...
                        height followed by length check...

         check out enigma: another arkanoid clone in shareware by some
         english dude... done in c only using 45' angles... (good idea)

         hope this pascal game can help you although i believe it won't...
