Free-source project!

well hello there.
i was just without anything to do and so i decided to tidy up my clothes so i got this little (well.. big) free-source project finished. ever since i read an article from i dont know who in hugi i think i had the idea of releasing all my code. whats the use of it beeing in my HD waiting for a crash? i wont use it anyways... well.. it anyone actually finds this usefull or has any doubts about anything at all just mail me about it. i doubt there will be anyone who would be willing to dl 10 megs about other peoples code. even more because its all in pascal...
no, not asm.. really... pascal.. believe it!!! :)

anyways, i am proud to say i coded it all alone and i did it the way i though it should be done. i didnt rip much and what i did i admit it. the rest is all from my head and i find it spetacular how i was able to think of so many small details and put them all together like that. i do believe this is why i started coding and why i am stopping now. i stopped because i have no ideas and when i finally got internet nothing changed.. everyone always told me i should change to c and that my code was slow and sucked. i had enough so i leave it for the pros. i coded all my things because thats what i wanted to do at the time. first i wanted to code to get related to the game industry, when i went into university and into civil engineering i set that project aside and concentrated on the demoscene. showing some effects. after 5 last places with 5 competitions (and atleast one more in stock) i have comed to realize that in order to get 1st place i need to know all about hi-color, 3d, windows, linux, beos and sound coding aswell as have connections to good artists (music and gfx) who are willing to work for me. i do have many friends in the scene nowdays (23/6/99) but i think that they lack time and interest.

for now i must thank everyone who helped me about code from day one, the ones i can remember atleast... brainpower, zetosta, iceball, rod, cpc, slyde, cyg, barbatron, whizzter, shock and zden. i dont recall anyone else who has helped me coding better. well.. gaffer and nix showed me some directions and skal some advices but i dont recall anyone else besides that. hellfire also helped a little, he is a cool guy. nephoo ofcourse! i cant forget about nephoo which was one of the people who showed me what demoscene is about. and since im at it, idiotboy and bam.

the rest is the usual bunch of greets which i dont feel like going to copy paste.

i dont know what im gonna do with this but... anyways... the zip contains 20 directories exactly. all have the codeinfo.txt inside explaining remotly what its all about and ofcourse the .pas .exe and whatever more i needed at the time and didnt delete...

2gdm is a program that transforms .mod .s3m into .gdm which bwsb plays.
bwsb stands for bells whistles and soundboards and it uses the mse_tp.tpu or whatever its named for playing sound with your cute little soundboard (badly i might add) i dont know where you can find bwsb since i only have the mse_tp.tpu and the .mse's nowdays..

xlc is a program that links all files into one simple looking exe.
handy! :) i got it from rod/mandula and aswell i have no idea where you can get it... there is no inet add on the .doc file i have...

for those intro coders, you cant upx an xlc file. it creates a stub which indicates the final .exe is already compressed (while it isnt, its just linked...) well.. you can always compress first and link later or code your own compression and/or linking rotines.. :)

i dont think i will code ever again.
