 AiLe presents: urge's Old Folk
 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

    Releasing packs seems to be the thing for these days. That
    seems to be a good enough excuse for me to do it too...

    This is a Basement Material type thing; the common factor
    about these modules is that they have never been released
    before, or they have been released a long time ago to small
    audiences (for example, a local BBS). This pack includes
    modules that you haven't heard anywhere before and, if you
    hadn't downloaded this pack, you wouldn't have heard 'em
    anywhere at any time from now. :-)

 Contents
 ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

    e1-kermo.xm :: Kermo

        This module was made by me and a friend, Petri Lehtinen.
        The lyrics have been done to test the 'random' method of
        writing lyrics: I threw in nouns and he did the same with
        adjectives. The module was put together during a friday
        night, under a healthy influence of alcohol.

    e1-ker-v :: Kermo, vahan remix

        The same lyrics, but faster.

    e1-platn.xm :: Platoon remix

        A module version of the theme from a C-64 game called
        Platoon. Has been made to sound a little bit 'non-90s' --
        it may sound weird and tinny, or then the weird, tinny
        sound enhances the experience. That's what is supposed
        to happen. :)
        This one makes some use of arpeggios, so it's a good
        way to check whether your moduleplayer plays FastTracker
        music accurately.

    e1-popcn.xm :: Poppcorne

        My first ever multitrack module! This was made within
        one hour of me getting FastTracker. It was all 4-channel
        Amiga music before this...
        I started tracking multichannel music quite late, which
        is because I bought a PC only a few years ago.

    e1-quit :: Do You Really Want To Quit?

        Bonus track!

    e1-u2bat.xm :: Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me

        My tracked version of the U2 piece featured in a Batman
        movie. I liked the original, and when MTV stopped playing
        it, I had to track it to keep listening to it.

    More Urge music can be found at http://www.sci.fi/~ertzi. AiLe
    will get it's own WWW domain sometime in the summer -- it will
    probably be http://www.aile.ml.org. You can find my music there
    when it opens up.

    Some day now I will also release another pack, with extended
    remixes, perhaps, of my modules. Wait and see...
